Pairs and charges through USB-C
A sliding cap reveals the USB-C port. Connect it to your iPad or iPhone Duo with a USB-C cable to pair and charge it. The flat side attaches magnetically to the side of iPad for storage, and the pencil goes into a sleep state there to save battery.

The Apple Pencil (USB-C) also works on both displays of iPhone Duo.
